Its that time of year again.

Where we meet with family, have large gatherings, and eat WAY TOO much…

We also stress way too much and worry about things that probably do not matter that much.

It makes it easy to forget the point of holidays.

There was once a time that I did not have any family near me.

I had no significant other.

Holidays were just another day.

They were not enjoyable.

It was not until I created my own family that I started to understand the point of holidays. At least how I see holidays now.

We are always busy doing things.

The point of holidays is to schedule a time to get together and just be present with each other.

Thats it.

It give you something to look forward to.

I saw this when my wife and I got married. I did not understand the point of spending all that money just for one day.

I told my mom that evening of our wedding that I understood now.

My wifes whole family and my whole family were all together in one spot for one evening.

It was awesome.

I also knew that getting everyone in one spot would never happen again.

It was worth it.

Holidays are not about the turkey, mashed potatoes, cookies, or the perfect picture.

Its about getting together with your loved ones and appreciating what you have.

Someone always has it worse.

We have no idea how long we have on this earth.

So live it to the fullest and try not to get caught up in the rat race of things that do not matter.

YOU Matter.

You make a difference for somebody, even if you do not realize it.

Check out this 4.33 minute video I made about a culture change.

It is the streamed down version of my FREE webinar.
